A wedding is one of the most special days in a couple's life. Granted they'd like to spend it with their near and dear, but it often becomes more than just that. I doubt all the 250 people coming to your wedding are part of your closest circle of family and friends. I am not sure you are going to remember or know who was there a few years down the road.

I had 660 people at my wedding. It was one of the happiest day of my life but I didn't know at least 500 of those people who were from the groom's side. It was a simple wedding by any Indian standards, but it still costs to feed the whole village like that.
