After being married for two decades, I couldn't agree with you more. And, I don't think it is selfish to want to be single and lead a fulfilling life.

I have a lot of affection and love in me to share, and I am in a relationship after my divorce. I love the "living apart together" concept. I don't know what the future has in store but I'd be fine with a cohabitating without a legal document. Thanks for reminding me of the in-law expectations - no thank you.
