Air Conditioning Repairs Can Open Other Doors and Windows
Finding love and companionship in unexpected places
The first time I met Rob was a decade ago on a hot summer day. He was the co-owner of a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) company and came for a service call to check on repairs for our AC unit. Something about Rob’s energy was very attractive. A friend who was visiting me at that time also commented on his good looks.
Over the years, Rob and his partner have helped me with my HVAC systems. They were very professional and reasonable in their pricing. Since I was the one taking care of the house repairs, I was the single point of contact for all business interactions. I was more chatty when Rob made the service calls, and we shared stories about children growing up and going to college.
As I was getting ready to sell the house, I listed Rob’s number as one of the providers for future buyers to contact. After all, these guys knew the house and the condition of the units.
The day before the closing, I noticed an unusual puddle of water in my basement. I texted Rob to alert him to the situation and let him know that the walk-through before the closing was at 9:30 a.m. He said he could come over first thing in the morning. Sure enough, Rob showed up at 8 am as promised.
