… so the motivation for men to adapt is less. This is true — but still assumes ease is the priority. There is something deeply disappointing about men benefiting from a woman’s adaptability and self-work, while using it as an excuse to skirt their own. The change and growth intrinsic to a connection of equals is a benefit, not a risk.
