Divorce is brutal but also a chance for growth and new beginnings. The grief can hit at the most unpredictable times. It will be five years and as I declutter to sell the marital home I didn't realize I had so much hidden emotion at looking at old albums and pictures. It's the loss of the promise of a life together and everything that we try to build for the future.
