EBJ, my heart goes out to you and I can relate to your post. I did not get the support and encouragement I needed as a child, a teenager, and now I am still craving for it as an adult. My 77-year-old mother is visiting me and it's hard to wrap my head around how and why things are the way they are. I hope to have a better equation with my children: to see them, hear them, and to be there for them.
