Ellen - I am sorry this happened to you and I can't imagine how devastating it must have been to find all those pics and details. Yes, restarting life is tough at any age let alone at 65 when you are winding down to lead a retired life.

I find solace in looking at the positives in a situation. The fact that you have been indepdenent and earning is one. The fact that you found out (better late than never) leaves you with a lot more years ahead to spend with integrity and self-respect. It will take time to heal from this but have faith that what's ahead is better than what was behind. Hugs!
