As a middle-aged woman and mother of two teenagers, I am struggling to make sense of the bruised, cold relationship I have with my 77-year old mother. I have been reading up on mother wounds and Michele Maize recommended Mother Hunger to just understand the generational impact it has on a mother-daughter relationship.
