Every time I brought about his drinking with my ex, he’d say he knew when to stop. Yet, every morning during the pandemic I’d see the counter lined up with empty bottles and cans. :(
Your points about the loss of memory and the irritability are all what I’ve seen with him. That’s what I told him, my love was not enough for him to want to seek help and work on himself. I hope he’s done that without me now.
