Great article! I had made it very clear to my (ex) husband and kids that I didn’t want gift and instead to spend the money in experiences with me. The kids got it, but not my then husband. He continued to give me expensive gifts which I wasn’t happy from the time I received them. Now that we are not married, I’m findings ways to let go of these times.
