Great article from a seasoned teacher. I hope the policy makers at the State level are listening. We need more teachers of color and we need more male teachers entering the profession. The classroom demographics is changing. Just flip through pages of a yearbook to know the diversity in the schools today. The profession needs an uplift, it needs an overhaul.
