I add myself to that statistic of reaching a mid-life crisis and divorcing to be nobody's wife. The sacrifices we make is real and as brutal as divorce is, it marks the beginning of a new phase of our life and I have experienced the duality of happiness of finding myself and the loss of the family unit/ shattering of the dreams of a future together. It took me a heck of a long time to realize that I am responsible for my own happiness and the future seems brighter with possibilities.
