I can’t remember the person who told me this but I remember it from my childhood. I always fought to keep my job and have an exit plan. Sometimes I wonder if that mentality to bolt is what made me call it quits.

I’m sorry about what you had to go through. I didn’t know about this when I asked for a separation but I later learnt about an alleged affair in the newspaper. He denied it to the children, and it was too late for me to care. But I realize he probably had an emotional affair with a colleague of his who he claimed to be a “good friend.”

Why do they do this? No explanation except for that they are weak and show their cowardice this way?
