I echo the others to say this is beautifully written. It clearly shows your higher level writing skills given your education. With regards to grief, YES - it's the loss of a future, a death of a relationship that we thought would be forever. As with any loss, the grief will hit you in waves.....at times when you least expect it. I see triggers in the oddest of things. Most recently it was when I was talking about my wedding saree. Sigh! But with time, I hope this too shall pass. I am waiting for the time when I am able to see most of it with a smile. Thanks for sharing your experience.
