I kept a journal but didn’t have privacy….it was found and read by my parents. I stopped writing everyday and instead I’d write a recap of the year, reflection of sorts on Dec 31 with an outlook for the next year. I have those from I was a teen. Insightful to go back to them…..showed me I was the same person, wanting the same things in different parts of my life.
