I only got treated in an outpatient facility and sent home in a few hours, so I will not even pretend to know what it's like to be an inpatient. However, I did have to go back to a follow-up appointment with my radiologist on Friday and it all seemed so unreal. This was the place I visited every day in the summer but had this love-hate relationship with stepping foot in it again.
