I think one of the apps either Bumble or Hinge, I don’t remember which one, has some surface-level verification process. I don’t think I want to give out my bank statement. Maybe a photo ID, if the information about the home address doesn’t get leaked or hacked.

But I wholeheartedly agree with having respect. Messaging someone and saying they want to hook up when their profile says they want a relationship is outright disrespectful.
