I'm sorry you had a bad experience with Bumble's customer service. I think the pool of candidates and what they are looking for are the same across these apps regardless of what the App says. I found the same with Hinge.

You'll need to enter online dating with low expectations and it's all about the timing. Get back on it when you feel ready, and you'll see that you will get better with filtering people based on their response time and quality of responses.
