In many ways, your journey with Riley in identifying his reading difficulties helped your other children. I am sorry that it took a few years to get the diagnosis and get him the help. Those must have been difficult times for you.

The reading scores of children in the United States is not promising, and I really hope we (in education) get our stories straight in helping children as early as possible.
