Why?

Because you constantly deal with the changes that affect you, your children, your ex-, and anyone who is closely associated with you for years after the actual divorce decree has been signed and sealed.

Dating after divorce is a rollercoaster ride. The degree of the thrills and chills felt has a lot to do with the ages of the children. To what extent you share information with your ex has a lot to do with the nature of the relationship you have with your ex.

Communication, communication, communication

Communication was a big issue in my marriage. I take full responsibility for my own flaws in this department. I am well aware of my tendency to shut down instead of stating my needs. It is something I am working on and feel like I have come a long way since.

I haven’t ascertained if it was pure indifference or blatant disregard for me, but my wasband had difficulty communicating daily…
