Jason, I can completely relate to your post. I met a man who will be turning 50 this month. He's never been married and no kids and he could have written that paragraph for you.

The only reason our profiles even crossed each other is because after 20+ years of looking for single women without kids AND finding no luck, he made a change. He was open to divorced women with kids. If you ask him, he'd say that's been the best decision of his life.

We have similar interests but we have our own quirks. I tell him as long as "you do you and I do me" we will find a way to get along.

The concept of Living Apart Together (LAT) is gaining popularity and it works for folks like us who wouldn't have to change our ways too much.

I am sure there is someone out there who doesn't smoke, doesn't like to camp, and will play video games with you.
