Jenn, believe me when I say I get ALL of it!!! About not really having a connection with my mother but accepting the fact that my children's time with grandparents is so limited that I will have to make adjustments while she is here.

I am glad your parents visit only for two weeks. My mother plans her trips for a minimum of 4 months. I packed her off to her son (my brother) for 6 weeks and she is back with me. I have two more weeks to go before I stay quite and calm and go about my business.
