But kudos to you for breaking that pattern for your daughter. I met my first Mormon friend in graduate school. She was from UT and attending her wedding was one of the strangest weddings I've been to. Anyways, your daughter is lucky to have you support and protect her to do whatever she'd like to do.

I didn't pass down much Hinduism to my kids either. They are free to choose or do whatever they want.
