Natalie - kudos to you for making the switch. There is data to show that we women often hesitate to take on roles unless we think we are 100% capable of doing the job in comparison to men. I love how you transferred your values from teaching to learning in the work place. Yes, many people avoid managerial positions because of possible conflict. But I realize there is a difference between conflict avoidance and conflict resolution. Thank you for the reminder on what it means to be a supportive and effective leader/ teacher.
