Neela, I too am a fellow immigrant-turned American like you. With the changing demographics, the landscape is changing and the majority are soon becoming the minority. So long as we start early in schools in redefining what it means to be American with the true principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion, we can deal with the select few who will never accept the new definitions.
