Nicole - I think your article reigns true for women out there who are looking for love too. Granted, there are more men that women and the odds are against them. I agree with all of what you said. But I have a cousin who took a more fatalistic attitude to the whole process. She believes that whether we end up finding someone we love or not is dependent on what's been preordained for us by this universe. She said some people are slated to live alone and some always find a partner. I am not fatalistic, but I wonder if that explains the truth behind why folks like Gareth (below) and others who have sincerely followed the unspoken rulebook about bettering themselves and done all the right things still find themselves to be single.
