No I wasn’t spanked and I didn’t have to spank my kids. I was very aware of my reactions to their behavior. For example, I don’t think timeout works unless you take away all the reinforcers from their room. It’s more of a headache to do it right. My kids were well behaved for the most part. Just this one time, I didn’t intend to strike a toy as hard as it actually hit my daughter in error. Not my proudest moment. :(
