No, you are not alone. I get that with cooking, but I commend you for baking because you need to be precise to get it right. I am good at eyeballing things which is why I am no good at baking.

My boyfriend does the baking and now he is into finding substitutions for the white sugar. He just baked a fresh batch of brownies with dates......so yum! I'm getting to have a healthy version of these sweets.
