Oh Megan, you can replace your dad with the word my mom and that will explain my relationship with her. It’s really hard and I’ve come to believe that there is no changing her and the dynamic of this relationship. She is just not going to see it any differently than she does now. I need to find a way to make peace with it, sadly. I hope your father is more amenable to change.
