Parenting is difficult as is. I just wrote about single parenting being challenging, and I know having worked with parents of neurodiverse children, how challenging that can be. Yes, parenting changes us from within. We find the strength and resilience to do many things we didn't think we could do. Gratitude along the way for the small wins makes the journey doable.
