Story nerd here. No objects in this piece, but that's the nature of the topic. Perhaps, something about pews, the rosary, the mass, etc.

It is a loaded topic. I was born into a Hindu family.....but my parents sent me to a Catholic school and college - so I had 17 years of that. Hinduism is a way of life. I grew up immersed in it, but there are no prescribed rules. "God" can be anywhere - in the idols in the temple or the pics in your home. After my dad died, I did lose my faith in God...but a whole lot of other things happened that I haven't revisited him. Living in the US, my kids don't get any religion. They too are born to Hindu parents but I will leave it up to them to find or not go in search of God.
