Thank you for sharing your perspective as a child of divorced parents. Because we are not Christian, the holidays were a reason for us to travel somewhere. When I got a divorce, we set a schedule so our kids would alternate each year spending Thanksgiving with one parent and Dec holidays with the other. But I see how I've lost the festive spirit among other things I've lost with the divorce.
