Thanks Damian. All I’m saying is the Rishis then didn’t account for women and their role in society. As a Brahmin woman, I am not allowed to serve God. Wait, I am actually forbidden from entering any religious place of worship for the days that I menstruate each month. So even if man and society allow me to become a priest in a temple, my employer will have to account for my monthly paid absence. :)
