What I don't understand is that when people download an app with the intent to meet someone, then why the "ghosting" when someone does initiate a conversation? If not interested, because you've already grouped that person in the unattractive or not-interested group then how about a response like "sorry but I don't think we are a match." I know, I know....it's the culture and all.
