This is not easy, but as selfish as it may seem to us looking from the outside, maybe she has her reasons to stay away from her grandmother. We don't really know. Because you feel strongly about it, you could speak to her....ask her about her behavior towards grandmother, and tell her that you don't feel like going to the wedding yourself for those reasons. Maybe she will come around to tell you why, and if she doesn't, that's ok too.
