Volunteering while working, now I see myself doing that for sure. Sara, you may just have opened up a new door for my future plans. It's a 5-10yr plan, but it may actually work. Why didn't I think of that earlier? I could volunteer in India like I want to and teach online classes as an adjunct in the US. The time difference will suck, but it's doable!
