When two people are not in sync with their respective roles in the marriage, it's easy for resentment to build. One feels taken for granted and there is blatant imbalance of roles and disregard for the others. Sigh! The sad part is that it doesn't take too drastic a change to make it work, but the failure to see what needs to change and making that change is what results in these breakups. Been there, done that.
