Yes, financial insecurity is a huge reason why people end up staying in their marriages. I have sleepless nights when I think about my future and what I walked away from. The advise I give my friends is to not compromise on the finances.....because this is the part that gets drawn-out and with all the emotions and stress I lost patience and energy to fight.
